ReSprout is a print and digital publishing organization owned by Long Island-based Ninth Communications and founded by veteran publishing guru April Zubko. Our mission statement is “To make the world a healthier place.” Sound big? It is. Good news is that we have a focus: Long Island and publishing. Long Island is just a cool place that we happen to call home. And publishing is one of the most powerful ways we know of to educate, influence, provide resources, and spread the word about all things healthy and eco-friendly, which in turn leads to the most important thing of all—change. That change could be to start exercising more or switching to environmentally-friendly cleaning products, but it’s these little things multiplied by all the other people taking the same steps that will truly “Make the world a healthier place.” We want to be a part of that.
